Sanjay Kumar

Sanjay Kumar has been teaching French literature for the past fifteen years at The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad. His interdisciplinary work spans literary criticism, translation, and cultural studies. Kumar has authored and edited several books including Esthétique de la folie chez Cendrars and World War I Revisited. He has translated four French novels, including works by Patrick Modiano and Mohamed Mbougar Sarr, as well as a French play into Hindi. He has also rendered a Hindi short story and a poem into French. His pedagogical contributions include French grammar manuals fr beginners. Alongside two colleagues, he co-founded Réflexions, a journal dedicated to French and Francophone studies.
