Dr Anandi Rao (she/her) is a Lecturer in South Asian Studies at SOAS, University of London. Her work is at the intersection of translation studies, Shakespeare studies and postcolonial studies and has been published in journals like South Asian Review, Studies in South Asian Film and Media and Shakespeare Bulletin. She is currently working on a book project on Hindi Shakespeare in Colonial India.
