Rafid C

Rafid C is currently working as an Assistant Professor of English at KL University, Hyderabad. He recently submitted his PhD thesis at The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, where he was awarded the UGC Junior and subsequently Senior Research Fellowship. His academic interests span memory and identity in literary discourse, digital literary cultures, marginality, translation, and the politics of reading. He has presented papers at prominent international platforms such as the American Comparative Literature Association (ACLA), the International Comparative Literature Association (ICLA), and conferences hosted by Princeton University and the Turkish Society for Theatre Research.
In addition to his research, Rafid has contributed significantly to academic mentorship and outreach. He served as the coordinator of the international research forum organised by the department of Comparative Literature and India Studies at EFLU for four years. He has also delivered invited talks and facilitated workshops on literary research, theory, soft skills, and competitive exam preparation at various institutions including SR University, PSMO College, and Al-Farook College. He has also worked with educational projects like ‘Yes India’ and CIGI, supporting students through curriculum development, training sessions, and research guidance.
